All Silver Wraiths followed the pre-war practice of having custom bodies from such coachbuilders as Freestone & Webb, Hooper, H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward and James Young to name but a few. The total production of theSilver Wraith amounted to a mere 1,883 cars before that model was discontinued in 1959. No two were exactly alike.

In this book every Silver Wraith built is listed in detail and comprehensive histories of the coachbuilders are included, too.. The author Martin Bennett is considered one of the world's leading experts with several books to his credit, e.g. 'Rolls-Royce and Bentley: the Crewe Years', 'Bentley Continental, Corniche & Azure' and 'Rolls-Royce the Post-War Phantoms IV V VI' and as the owner of a fine Silver Wraith bodied by H.J. Mulliner his in-depth research on the Silver Wraith is second to none.
